So what is this anyway?

I got the idea for "His Call Your Response" after listening to the November 17th edition of EWTN's Life on the Rock podcast. That particular edition of Life on the Rock discussed what young people can do to counter the devastating effects of abortion.
But what exactly is His Call Your Response? I intend it to be an organization of young people committed to defending the precious dignity of the unborn people among us. Every day 115,000 babies are killed worldwide, with 3,700 of those abortions occurring in the U.S. About 20% of those babies have teenage mothers. What happened to those babies' unalienable rights endowed by their Creator?
Each of us is obligated to make use of the talents that God has given us in order to protect the lives of His sons and daughters, who by the way are our brothers and sisters. If all those unborn babies could speak to you, what do you think they would say? Would they deny their own personhood and be indifferent to the threats posed by abortionists, admitting that since they are so "inconvenient" they should be disposed of? Or would they with one voice make a desperate cry for help, fighting with all their strength to be allowed to live and have a future of their own?
So I challenge each of you to consider what part you are called to play in this battle between good and evil. Will you merely call encouraging words from the sidelines? Or will you place yourself on the line to represent those little ones who cannot represent themselves?

What's next?

In order to get this movement off the ground, I need your support. We need to promote life in our families, schools, and churches. We need to keep the unborn in our constant prayers, and offer penances and sacrifices on their behalf. If you are interested in being an active member of this organization, just post a comment.
